Social anxiety disorder is an overwhelming fear of social situations and it is believed that one in ten people suffer from this disorder and for most it will not go away without help.
For many it means worrying about an up and coming event many weeks in advance, worrying during the event and for some days or weeks after the event.
For some sufferers even a visit to the shops can be stressful because they may fear being judged or watched by strangers.
The anxiety can lead to you to being depressed, withdrawn and to having a feeling of being isolated. If untreated, you could develop other anxieties including a fear of leaving the home (agoraphobia), or other phobias and/or OCD.
By using a combination of psychotherapy, analytical hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), emotional freedom techniques (EFT) and mindfulness, I can help you to identify the core reasons why you are experiencing this anxiety and help you to release and let go of them.
I will help you to increase your confidence and self-esteem enabling you to feel comfortable and at ease in social situations.
If you are suffering from this disorder contact me today for a confidential and complementary telephone consultation and see how I can help you.
