A constant state of stress and or anxiety can lead to clinical depression and physical illnesses such as IBS, Colitis and Migraines.
Anxiety is the main symptom of several conditions including phobias, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, Post traumatic disorder (PTSD) and panic attacks. Frequent panic attacks can cause you to fear the anxiety attacks themselves and increase your overall level of anxiety.
Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), is when you are in a constant state of high anxiety, experiencing chronic worrying. As soon as you feel like you have resolved one worry, another immediately comes into your mind.
Depression is something that affects you emotionally, mentally and physically.
It is not something to be taken lightly. Someone suffering from depression cannot just pull themselves together or snap out of it, they need help and understanding.
Through psychotherapy, analytical hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), emotional freedom techniques (EFT) and mindfulness, I can help you to identify the source of your stress, anxiety or depression and help you change the way you view it, manage it and help you to free yourself from it.
